Does anyone have experience with the Wiseman double cases? I'm looking for a good trumpet/flugel cases. I've never seen one, but I bought Chase Sanborn's books and he sent an ad for the cases with the books.
Are they durable? Has anyone had to use the warranty?
Thanks,

Hello SA Doc,
I am an owner of a wiseman case. I like it very much. it is easy to carry and you can put a lot of things in it. If you put a flugel and a trumpet in it, then still the mutes fit in to (four of them).
The trumpets are good protected. I own my case now for two month, so I haven't used the garanty till now.
If you have further question, just dropp a note. If you need a discount code, send me a mail.
Best wishes

Awesome cases - got my triple Wiseman last year and love it!
No problems yet for me, but a good friend had to have her bassoon case repaired and Howard Wiseman was good to his word with the guarantee, repaired free of charge!
If you are looking to put a flugel and a trumpet in the case, I would suggest the triple case is more suited to your needs than the double. The double case is probably a bit small for the flugel; I know that my Getzen 4 valve flugel only just fits in the triple (but it does fit, which is more than can be said of many gig bags claiming to be for flugel horns!).
For more information, go to Howard Wiseman’s website http://www.wisemancases.com. Through that you will probably find answers to all your questions, including how to order one. If you are still wanting discount codes, please feel free to contact me for another one. _________________ If we are not making music, what is the point?

A friend of mine carries his gold plated Lawler 24b in one. They are beautiful cases and worth the money. Probably the best constructed case I've seen. The interior is awsome and will protect your horn. _________________ Dan

Does Wiseman case fit to rotary trumpet?
For combination of rotary Bb & piccolo... what would you like to recommend, double, trumpet/flugel, or triple?
I just wonder... ^^ _________________ Scherzer 8211 Bb

Hello John,
I have a trumpet/flugel case, and i think a rotary will fit in this. On one side of the case, you could put a normal Bb and a picollo. On the other side is normaly the flugel, and so I think there would be enough space for the rotary, if you leave the flugel outside.
Howard Wiseman makes the inserts to hold the trumpet to your specific trumpet. To build a case he needs a drawing from your trumpet. So, if you send him a drawing with the measurment of your rotary trumpet, then he can do a fitting insert for you.
Henning
