Not sure just where to put this... but I'll try it here! I've been exchanging afew emails with Leon, and Kurt posted this to TPIN yesterday. With his permission I'm reproducing it here. There's LOTS of soundclips on his site. It's been mentioned before, but I felt it worth repeateing (heck, I have to repeat durn near everything nowadays; good thing 'bout a bad memory -- it's all new, every time!)

Just to let you know, Leon Merian has allowed me to put up 2 complete cuts from his album, "The Real Thing"--plus a third partial cut, too. If you haven't heard Leon's playing--check him out at:

Or, check out the other 45 players at:
http://home.flash.net/~screech/trumpet3.html
...and, feel free to prowl around the site--I've booted my wife's pages off of there and it's now just trumpet and recording stuff. Enjoy!

Don,
"heck, I have to repeat durn near everything nowadays; good thing 'bout a bad memory -- it's all new, every time"
Ya, if it wasn't for flashbacks, I wouldn't have any memory at all.
