What is double Bb? Is what I call "high C" C3 since it is the third C I can play or is double C the C above high C
I'm just curious as to how high you cats are playing.
Thanks,

Thanks Dave,
I figured Quad C was somewhere out there;-)
That's way out of my symphonic:) range, whatever that is. You guys/gals are above cloud level, ie. stratus as far as I can tell.
Thanks,

Hey Quad C, Where in Cal. are you? I have a sister in Fallbrook, outside of San Diego.
Was not trying to knock you. You just say west coast.

Dave,
"High G is the octave above the staff. Most players say Double at Aflat, one step above the high G. Double Aflat, Double A etc. Triple starts above the Double C."
So by this naming system, the double high range consists of only 5 NOTES: Ab, A, Bb, B and C above high C. And the next note, C# above double C would be called a triple C#. I wonder how many people on this forum would agree with that.

With ya on that one CR....
now you know why I like the numbered notes.
G4...C4...
etc etc...
That system is only wierd with the F#'s.
F# is the turning point, F1 is the first space F where F#2 is the first space F#, all because of that damn low F#. |
