Hi All,

I don't know the name of this tune but I want to know about it and it's name since I'm going to play it solo for the opening of a memorial.

About 75 bpm. Any key but -- 1st measure-- B, D, D./ 2nd measure-- B,A G. 3rdmeasure-A,B,D,B/fifth measure whole note A.

Dotted qtr. note/ eight/ half note.//same second measure. Third measure-- four qtr. notes./

A friend of mine killed himself and his girlfriend last Sat. in a plane accident. Tried to make a landing on the freeway and the cars saw him and stopped.
(If you see a plane trying to land behind you, KEEP DRIVING)

That caused him to divert to the riverbed...

Well, I tried to position myself to play Taps but the MHD doesn't want to bump their bugler so I'll be playing later at the wake or memorial get to gether.

Please let me know what the name is and any other info.

You might find it under the title "Going Home". It's also the slow movement main theme
from Dvorak's "New World Symphony".

I apologize for answering your question so matter-of-factly without
regard for the bigger picture. My prayers and condolences also go out to you
and your friends family. I have many pilot friends and one of their biggest fears
is attempting an emergency landing on an expressway and traffic having no clue
what to do. Your friend should also be highly commended for NOT crashing into
traffic.

You're cool Paul.

I know you're into aviation.
