Hey guys, I got a call this morning to play the musical "Cinderella" with a local ensemble, and, as I understand it, there's only one trumpet part, so I'll be all by myself...Has anybody else played this before, so I can have a little bit of idea what to expect? The director told me it was pretty light overall, but...I don't trust non-brass players in general about parts, they always end up playing clarinet or something and say "Oh, you mean those notes with all the ledger lines are really high on trumpet...?" Anyway, just curious as to whether the music's good, and what to look out for. Thanks!

I played this show in HS with a community theater. It really blows as a musical, but it's super easy.
Have fun! (God, that show sucks!)
