Taking a break from the horn, flipping through the latest Brasswind catalog, and here's what I find:

Warmup gloves at $21.95 a pair to "help reduce fatigue, stress, cramping, and pain...when practicing...."

Mouthpiece bottle stopper (a real, silver plated mouthpiece inserted in a cork stopper) for $19.95 to "preserve that partial bottle of your favorite Merlot..."

A pair of slippers adorned with treble or bass cleff at $24.95 -- "music to your feet."

An $18.00 baseball cap with your choice of a B sharp or B natural logo (what, no B hip?)

Trumpet alarm clock for $31.95 that awakens you (to Clarke #2, perhaps?)

And, finally, my favorite...

A "B.B. mute" which, for only $19.95, is similar to a Crown Royal bag except that it doesn't come with anything to drink.

Ah, the marketing mind.

More things to add to the "to buy" list.
Blackburn piccolo at the top, treble clef slippers at the bottom.

And you know it's only a matter of time before someone changes the valve tops so that you can have pretty colours.
Oh no, Bach have already done that.

How about overly decorating the bell?
No, Bach again, along with loads of others.

How about filling up the gaps in between bell and leadpipe?
Oh no, Monette.

Got it - How about trumpet codpieces?
You could even get them in different bell sizes!
Anybody who orders a flugel codpiece is just being optimistic
