Does anyone here own a Lawler cornet? If so, tell us about it! What about that suitcase option where the bell screws off for easy transport? Does anyone own one of these? What is Lawler's waiting period?

The waiting time for a new Lawler is about 6 weeks. Depending on how busy he is. I have not played the cornet or the suitcase model trumpet, so I cannot vouch for them. However, the quality of his horns is top notch. _________________ Dan

Roy's Cornets are awesome! You could ask Ted Sparks about the briefcase option. (Of course it would kick butt with a Northern Brass Cornet piece!).... It's okay Ted, the coast is clear!
If you'd like to contact me off board, I can send you a great picture of one that Roy did for a customer of mine, in California. Rose brass bell, done in satin lacquer. It's a GREAT lookin' horn! ... Plays well, too!
Best always,

JU,
I have 3 Lawler cornets. I love all of them.
If you care to contact me 'off list' I'll tell you all about them.
Cheers,
Ted |

Ted... I sent you an email via your web page with some questions about mpcs. When you get time, I would appreciate any information that you can send me in regards to selecting the best cornet mpc in relation to what I now use on trumpet.
thanks... rich _________________ http://www.myspace.com/hughes1946
