I have a Vintage bach serial# 55xxx that was originaly a 37 but I put a new 72* bell on it and a Blackburn #12 pipe. Has anyone ever tried this combo? |

I really doubt many of those custom Bach's exist. Tell us what you think of it.
So it is a standard weight body with a lightweight bell?
I have the flip version of that ... a lightweight valve body with a heavy 37 (37H) bell and love it to death.
I am wondering how the Blackburn pipe works with yours though. Do you have a normal tuning crook also? _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

Yeah I have a standard weight body and lightweight bell. I have had a light weight 72* trumpet before but it was to eratic. I like the feel of an older horn body but the bell that was on the horn when I got it was trashed. |

I have the same thing (72* bell with reg weight body) with a standard 25 leadpipe. It seems like a whole different horn from the 72 reg weight bell, in that response is quick but the horn is not overly bright. It is a nice combination.
