Are there any safe home remedies for safe silver plate remover? If not, what is the general cost for this work being done at a music store? Thanks everyone...... _________________ Garcia,TX

Why would you want to remove your silver plate?
We offer such services, but we're back-logged for several months. I would recommend buffing it off with Tripoli, a buffing wheel and strips of cloth. Wear your respirator!

Buy a similar horn in lacquer and strip it. You will most likely regret strippnig the silver. If you like the unlacquered version best, sell the silver one on Ebay, or somewhere else.
