If you got all your s%#@ together, how many hours per day/years does it take to get solid @G over C3 and beyond. Or maybe I should say how many man hours as long as one is doing his/her thing properly and efficiently! |

I don't think that you can put a time on it. Some people may never get it and a friend of mine, who started out as a baritone player of all things, could nail a double G from the first time he picked up a trumpet. He never had to develop upper range on the trumpet, it was always there for him. It makes me sick!
There are far too many variables that go into it to be able to put a time frame on it. Just my humble opinion. |

As for me, I never had anything spectacular, but I was getting the job done so I didn't work on it. Then one day, though, it just clicked and I had my range. _________________ Brian. |
