| I don't know if there is a translated version of this book somewhere, but mine appears to be in Italian. I've got the basic idea of the book- they assign solfege syllables to each key, and then give you exercises in each key and tell you to transpose. Now, is there some kind of method to the transposition? Should I play the exercises as written first to hear what they should sound like? The solfege-naming of keys led me to wonder if maybe they want me to sight-sing first? Any info on this book would be greatly appreciated. |
