There won't be an internet stream of this show....just audio, but it's possible there will be a VIDEO archive. We will see.

I just read an article that said that Tanglewood will webcast its 75th Anniversary concert on Saturday August 8 at 8:30pm Eastern. I do believe that this webcast will be LIVE VIDEO from the music shed in Lenox, MA.

Mahler 8 will be the piece. Andris Nelsons will conduct the Tanglewood Music Center Orchesta+ soloists + chorus.

1 correction: I believe Nelsons will conduct the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, not the BSO. I'm sure it will still be a great show.

The source that I used didn't make it clear that it will be the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra. Thanks for catching that!

The LIVE internet webcast has been cancelled. It will be streamed to Copley Square in Boston and that it all. There might be an archive though. It will certainly be on the radio.
