Is the Getzen Signature model trumpet a good instrument? I have seen one for sale (silver plated and reverse lead pipe) for
a reasonable price. Has anyone any experience of these?
Best regards

I owned a Donald E Getzen Signature for several years. I thought it was a good horn, but had some intonation problems with it. However, they may have been due to the beginning of my come back. The horn played bright, was light weight and free blowing. The valves were awesome. I sold it when I bought my Schilke. _________________ Dan

I think Dan tipped you off on this, but Signature is a model of the DEG, which is not exactly the same thing as Getzen Company. The owners are related, but different factories make the horns, etc.
