What are you planning on buying from them? I've never purchased a horn or anything like that from them, but I buy mutes and other stuff all the time from WWBW. They're definitely reliable. I think they have all of their return policies as applied to returning horns and mouthpieces posted on their site. I guess in response to you question, yes, they are reliable.

Very reliable.. I have bought a couple horns from them. They give you a good trial period and you can try out up to three horns at one time. They should do you right. _________________ J. Fowler

They are first rate. I have purchased cases and various other products from them and have had no problems at all. I know of several who have purchased horns and have been very satisfied. Also they have a very fair return policy. _________________ Philip Satterthwaite

I have been doing business with them for about 12 years. I like their prices and trial policies. I took a trip up there a couple of years ago and liked the showroom a lot. You go to a counter, tell the customer service rep what items you want to try and then take them to try in a practice room. They had "live" and "dead" sounding rooms. Although I never bought a horn through them, I would actually go there and test horns. In each room there was a stereo system to tape yourself playing each horn. I had a lot of fun visiting the store. It was about a 5-6 hour trip each way. I went there with a couple of buddies that play sax. It was a great time. |

I've had really good luck with them as well. I've bought tons of accessories and a horn from them, all with no problems. Returns and exchanges have been a breeze and they tend to stock a good amount of repair parts. |

I just bought my son's tenor sax from them. And they delivered by Christmas even though the shipping stated that the item wouldn't ship until after Christmas. I also bought my flugel and many accessories from wwbw. Excellent service and great delivery time. They also sold me stem pads when the local Yamaha dealer wouldn't sell me any. And the trial time for mouthpieces is very good. |

I've dealt with these guys a lot. They're the closest major music store to me (I live in Michigan), so I went there to pick out my trumpet a couple of years ago. I had nothing but great service. I've ordered online from them a lot, and service has always been good and quick. I'd reccomend them any day. |

I have bought a bunch of stuff from them over the last 20-25 years, horns cases you name it. Here's an example of how they operate. I wanted a C horn 5 years ago and they sere sending me three horns to try. One was a 191? horn that was supposed to be in good condition. When they tried to get a small ding out of it before shipping, the bell cracked. They called to say they wouldn't send it because it wasn't what they thought. I appreciated that. I bought one of the other two they sent. I'll buy from them anytime. I also am about 5 hours away and would love to go visit their store.

Why don't you go to their website and contact them through the email address on the site or just call the 800 number. Their website address is: http://www.wwbw.com
I have bought several things from them over the years and they were great to deal with.

What's wrong with using their 800#? Sometimes it's better to talk to a person anyway.
I've bought a lot of stuff from them and have never had any problems. When I've called with a question, they've had someone right there who knew the answer and made other suggestions.
It's made me avoid the local guitar-oriented shop like the plague. It's about 3 hours away from where I live, but I usually make an annual pilgrimage just for fun. One thing I've seen is that they don't always have what you want in stock. When I've wanted to try a horn or a mouthpiece, I call ahead and make sure it's there. Nothing worse than driving 3 hours and not getting to do what you are looking for.
I know someone who had a very negative experience with returning something and not getting it credited properly to his credit card. Not my experience at all. |
