Many of you know I follow Schilke very closely. Those pictures have been used before in a past ebay auction. I am 100% sure of this. I never saved those pictures because they were never that good on detail or condition of the schilke. I wouldn't place a dime on this auction. Beware. |

If you have a name and address from the guy, why on earth hasn't someone reported that to the proper authorities? Even if it is fake stuff, its potentially trackable. |

The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing

This guy just pulled the auction .... apparently he thinks I'm actually going to pay him. What would give him that impression??
Oh yeah, that's right ... I did!
Yes I have seen this pictures before come to think of it.
Beware though, once this guy realizes that I'm not going to fall for his poor excuse of a scam, he may list again. So keep your eyes open. _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

I did report the auction to ebay, but I think he dumped it before the report went through. I still am wondering why many...actually most that I have seen...of these scam auctions are from UK or Canada or both? Anyone???kpb _________________ Conn 6B

Tell him you'll pay him $1000 in cash (if he was intelligent, he would think that odd, but he's not intelligent, so he might say "ok") via mail. If he falls for it, you should photocopy 2 $500 Monopoly bills and mail it to him. |

Yeah that's not a bad idea .... I just gotta make sure I don't put my return address on it. I don't want this guy knowing where I live. Funny that the 2 $500 Monopoly bills are worth more than what he has to sell! _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

Also, make blantantly obvious that you're making fun of him, put it crookedly on the scanner and don't trim off the sides, or do a piss-poor job of it. |

Yes, tell him you'll give him $1000 in cash (see my above post). If you do it, try maybe mailing it from a different town or make up a bogus return address, or both. It would be funny to see the response. |

Maybe I could send him $1000 in Monopoly money along with a Basic English Textbook ... so he can learn the language before trying to scam people. _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

Good that you all caught a scam, the herald does a small part in cleaning up e-bay. But I still think someone from the UK or Canada should report the name, in case the feds or soemone have any info. on it. |

In response to "Richard" and his offer to sell because some folks had treated him badly and he had to cancel the auction...I replied as follows...
"Well, I will make an offer. However, because of the zero feedback, I will have a friend who is a semi-pro trumpet player (he is a London PD Detective too) deliver the payment in person and inspect the horn. I have found your address on-line and have confirmed that my friend would have no problem finding you. He knows the city very well. The extra cost and time involved with Western union and transfer fees would be avoided. Let's get this done. Email me your London telephone number and I'll have him contact you to arrange a meeting. I'll let him handle delivery to me. Just confirm this address and send tel. #. This arrangement should satisfy your desire to get paid as soon as possible and will take care of my fears that this might not be a legitimate deal. You never know and it pays to be careful. I'd pick it up myself but I live quite a distance from London and my friend is willing to do it for me. Thanks

Correct???"
That was yesterday PM late and I have not gotten a reply. What a surprise. kpb |

Please let us know if he responds to that professional proposal. Would be very interested to hear his refusal of that offer. _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS
