Any recomendations for a small bell mounted microphone. What did Miles use. How about Chris Botti...not a fan, but I like his tone as played with mute and microphone. kpb |

Do a search oin the Other Toys forum - this has been (and will be, no doubt) a popular subject.
I'm biased against the clip-ons, personally, but my short list is:
Cheap, decent -- AKG
Best for one horn -- SD Systems
Best overall -- AMT

I use an AMT (Applied Microphone Technologies) Roam 1 and it is by far the best wireless mic I have used for my horns in a live setting. _________________ Schilke B1L / GRe65M/e65S
