Just bought this horn, anyone know anything about them, other than what's on the Net? Ever played one?

Got it cheap but who knows what the valves are like. I've got several potentially great horns that need valve jobs.
P.S. Thanks Tom, wrong link! I think the scariest thing about the piano is the shipping costs! The link to the York should be fixed now.
Bob

Radiobob,
Check the link you posted. Somehow you've used a wrong digit, for it displays a HAUNTED piano (that's what the seller claims!!!) that currently has 17 hours of bidding time left.
Let us have the correct link and we can possibly comment on the York. I've written on the York's history in other posts, both here on the TH and on the Trumpetmaster.com website where I moderate the Vintage Horn forum.
Sincerely,
Tom Turner
PS: Everyone check out the haunted piano! Bidding is only slightly over a dollar. I guess no one wants to bring a haunted piano into their house!!! I don't blame 'em . . . I sound like the "devil" on my piano already!!! |
