Pretty useless comparison. As Bill said earlier, they are completely different from era to era and from horn to horn. Get a good one and play it! _________________ "Strive for tone." -John Coppola

32 or 37? I didn't know that 32 Bachs were a thing. Is this a Mount Vernon or New York Bach, or Selmer. If it's a Selmer, I though that the only bells available were:
25
37
38
43
65
72 _________________ Patrick Gleason

I took 32 to mean 1932. |

You're probably right - at first glance I thought it referred to bell size, which is usually specific (but not always) to bore size:
37 = ML
38 = M
25 = L
43 = ML
65 = ML
72 = I think this is the only one I've seen in both ML and L. _________________ Patrick Gleason

I've seen 37's in Large Bore, and 43's in Large Bore and XL bore configurations. _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

I've never seen or played a 6/6. The 7/7 horns can be fantastic, and are often (if not always) large bore. _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |
