Thanks PC for the information. I understand that unlike many amature players Wayne is not a gearhead and does NOT have any desire to keep changing horns when the horn works for him. It must be working pretty well because he is staying busy and is up for a Grammy tonight. Let's hope he gets it. Like some of the other people that post on TH I have had the the pleasure of meeting Wayne and he is a really nice, unassuming guy. Oh yes he is one heck of a trumpet player.
Also, Wayne is a two trumpet player family. His wife, Deb Wagner, plays and leads a couple of bands. In fact she plays in the trumpet section on his CD.
