Hey all, I just bought this Buescher SA and I'm not sure if it's real. All the ones I've seen have silver bells and on this one the word Buescher isn't complete. Hopefully someone can tell by the pics and serial #110389 what I've got. Here's the original listing:

Our resident Buescher expert is VetPsychWars. Hopefully he will see this and chime in. If not you could send him a PM.

I took the horn to my tech, it has had a poorly done re-lacqure, the first three letters were buffed off during that process and the horn has had some major repairs done to it. Back to the POS who sold it to me.

It's real funny that I see this post less than 2 hours after helping you pick out your new horn, man! I mourn that you had to go through this, but I hope the 37 works out nicely for you. You're always welcome to come back to us for help!

Nick,
Thanks again for all the help today, this trumpet buying experience was the way it should be. Big props to the staff at Wallly's! Now I've got a great Strad 37 to start my journey.

I'm glad we could help you out and make it a good experience! Trumpet is a joy that should be shared with others, and so much of what I know about it is learned here, from the many players in the community. Stick around, and never forget you've got people here who are happy to give ya a hand!

It was real, made with one of the last Elkhart serial range valve blocks. Don’t blame you for taking it back.

But a Bach 37? Seriously? You could have saved some money and bought a kazoo.

I tried the kazoo, side by side with the 37 and though I liked the kazoo sound better, I couldn't find a mute to fit it.

I also bought a Olds Ambassador, just because I thought I should at least try one...

See if you can find an affordable Holton 48.
