Never heard of a "National." It is impossible to tell from pics, but it looks clean enough...for $25 + $18 shipping, you're not risking alot to begin with. Let us know how it behaves once you are able to put it through the paces...and welcome to the Trumpet Herald!

i got a bit more info on this from the seller. Apparrently it is a German made instrument pre WWII though just barely late 30's. Can anyone say anyhting about trumpets made in this region at that time. Is there anything to worry about in a trumpet 60 yrs old? |

Well I did finally get this sounds good the guy at the local music shop liked it. I have even managed to play it though limitedly. Still haven't got any info on the manufaturer though. so if anyone gets a brainstorm let me know. |
