You can try contacting these people through Stanford. http://www.stanford.edu/group/mariachi/ They offer a regular course in Mariachi and promote it very much. They might have something available for free from their music archives? Also Mel Bay publishes a good basic Mariachi Song Book with multiple parts that can be used for trumpets as well as violin and guitar. Hope this helps!
