Did you post the YouTube and if so where did you get the recording?
The head of the music department at the school I was going to happened to have a copy of the concert album it was on and he let me tape it.
I've applied noise reduction software to reduce tape hiss and record surface noise and got rid of the major pops and clicks though I wasn't obsessive about it - you can hear a few small clicks here and there. Tweaked the eq and used multiband compression to tame some of the eq spikiness in Doc's sound, bring out some of the high end sparkle of the band overall and reduce extreme bass boominess that's apparent in the original. _________________ Getzen Eterna Severinsen

I think Gabe talks about this in his biography. I don't think it's an exposition but it's an interesting bit of history. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

To have the chops to get through the first movement is amazing enough---but to play like that for a solid eighteen minutes is proof that Doc is not human. _________________ Bryan Fields
