Paid some attention to the soundtrack while my son was watching The Secret Life of Pets and heard some solotone in the background in one of the scenes.
Also, not exactly trumpet, but Tommy Dorsey used one on Song of India. _________________ -Tom Hall-

Man, there's an old Neal Hefti tune ("Scoot") written for Count Basie that calls for tin mutes in the trumpets. I guessed that it might mean harmon with stems. Now I know! Thanks. _________________ The name I go by in the real world is Joe Lewis |
