Mike Olmos, from the SF Bay Area, is just so much fun to listen to. He has an instagram account where he posts live feeds from gigs and he always just kills it. Here is a clip of him from like 6 years ago, and every time I hear him he's at some new sick level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B86KaTDB3fk

Without a doubt, Andrea Giuffredi, he does some things that few can do (for ex. jumping into pedals with good sound). Range, speed, articulation, sound, style... he has it all.

Great player for sure. Has a very expressive and extrovert style, I'm not convinced he quite possesses all the qualities of a top tier classical player- I find his intonation a tad 'individualistic' and don't think that very soft precise playing comes easily to him, but nevertheless a phenomenal player with chops to burn!

WOW!!!!
I really enjoyed that!!!!
It was like Wagner, The Twilight Zone (original series), Star Trek (original series), David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and my reaction to this performance - The child's reaction to the lights in Close Encounters of the Third Kind!!!!
This really captivated me!!!!! _________________ Several Trumpets and Flugelhorns!

Thomas Gansch gets a good deal of well-deserved attention here on the TH. But elsewhere, not so much. _________________ "I'm an engineer, which means I think I know a whole bunch of stuff I really don't."

So glad you enjoyed it! Stockhausen's Licht cycle is really fascinating - there's nothing else like it. And Marco's playing is just unbelievable.
