This looks like a promising area to improve high end range. I use a Wedge Superchops 4, and have found that the small backbore greatly improves the high range, tho I can only reliably pop out a Bb. It is good to hear an explanation of the physical concepts involved. I was an environmental noise consultant, with some basic understating of acoustics, and I have hoped that someone could explore these topics in a scientific manner. So thanks! |
