|
|
Hi everyone, over the last two years I have been working with the Mel Broiles estate to help bring his books back into circulation. I am thrilled to announce that today the first release has hit qPress, and I can't wait to share it with you.
As you know, Mel was principal trumpet of the Metropolitan Opera from 1958 until he retired in 2003. He is widely held as one of the finest orchestral players in modern history, and was a larger then life character, all at the same time.
We will be doing monthly releases until all of the books are back, and the first four landed today. Here is what you will find:

Great news! Will his solo "Vernal Equinox" with concert band accompaniment be available (or is it already)? |

That is a great question. It will be going up in the next month or two, for sure trumpet and piano, but all available arrangements we will be publishing.
Pretty exciting stuff. _________________ Check out qPress for the largest selection of trumpet books on the internet. |

Hey everyone, just another update. Today we launched Mel Broiles' Three Part collection "Trumpet Studies and Duets Books 1, 2, and 3".
These books were an absolute staple of my years in university, and I have kept them close by ever since. From day one they are available as digital or print editions, and I can't wait to get these into the hands of trumpeters worldwide.
I mean, the duets alone in these books are worth a lifetime of practice. How insane are they?!?!
You can find them all below. Enjoy!
