I recently placed a $4,500 bid for a Firebird on Reverb.com It was in decent shape but my offer was refused.
I thought that was a reasonable offer and IMO anything much higher is simply foolish for what is essentially a novelty item. Even Maynard barely used it in the studio or in concert. |

Hi Nick,
I'd place it on eBay with a high Reserve price and I'd make it available worldwide. I did that with a 1947 French Besson Meha I had bought for just $400 and paid an additional $400 for a restoration, and then I later sold it on eBay and got nearly $3000 for it. Let the free market decide what it's worth.
Also be sure to place an ad in the Marketplace here with a link to the eBay auction.
