Apropos of not much except the sharing of great live performances, I ran across this clip of Elvis singing "How Great Thou Art" in 1972 (I think at Hampton Roads). Great band with some nice lead trumpet work at the end.

That was actually the late Pat Houston playing lead. He was bandleader Joe Guercio’s lead player at the Hilton show room. A great player. This tour was filmed for a pretty cool movie called “ Elvis on Tour “, DVD of full show is around.. |

Also interesting - the movie of these concerts won a golden globe for the film
Editor of the many montage sequences - the editor was Martin Scorsese |
