Good news! RSVP’s are picking up and we may have a quorum after all!
Just heard from Steve “Dr. Valve” Winans who is bringing some horns including some for sale.
A note to anyone new to all of this: the Hang is not a playing session but is an opportunity to talk trumpet and test some nice horns not often seen in local stores. (Be sure to bring a mouthpiece or two - there’ll be trumpets, cornets and flugels to try.)
You’re welcome to bring anything horn related you’d like to sell.
The hours are 1 to 5 PM and you can stay for the afternoon or whatever part of it you can fit in your schedule.
I’ll have beverages for all but no food on the assumption no one wants to have to snake somebody else’s pizza out of their axe.
The address is 243 Forest Avenue in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
See you on Sunday! That’s this Sunday, April, 14, 2019. _________________ Jim Hatfield

In the office today getting the horns ready for the hang tomorrow. I'm also going to bring some old "Getzen Exclusiv" mouthpieces we had sitting around to give away.
Looking forward to doing some show related work and hanging out. See you tomorrow. _________________ Adam R. Getzen

Facebook traffic would suggest that the turnout tomorrow is likely to be larger than this thread might indicate.
Hope so! _________________ Jim Hatfield

Well I'm sure glad I didn't take the winter tires off my old Jeep yet!
I'm leaving in about half an hour or so and Google says the drive is currently under an hour. See you all soon!
