Does Yamaha make custom mouthpieces on request? I love the feel of the 17B4 on my face, but I wanna try one with a 24 throat. Or do any of their signature series mouthpieces match these specs exactly?

Order your mouthpiece from stores like, MouthpieceExpress.com, OsmunMuisc.. etc they will modify any piece that they sell.. just be aware that this quite often negates any return policy.

will MouthpieceExpress keep the same bore length than the original one when they modify the throat size ? |

I don't know.. ask them...
I'd be more confident that Osmun Music, can do anything you wish......

Try the Yamaha Mark Gould Signature mouthpiece. It's nearly the same as a 17B4 but with larger throat and backbore. It's far superior than the regular 17B4. |
