I use the Zinger all the time. I play a lot of big band and a fair amount of lead.
If I were to do a lot of solo work, I wouldn't use it. I don't think it has the right sound. I also don't think it blends well with a section of other brand mutes. Still, I use it because I can hear myself and it plays in tune and, works way down low and way up high. _________________ Joe Spitzer

Curious about this as well. I am assuming the answer is that it's the aluminum. Definitely made me think about getting one as I think it was my favorite out of all the ones recorded. Made me sad the Soulo one didnt sound like I was hoping/expecting, but I'm sure everything sounds a little different in person.
