I just ran across this video on micro fiber towels on YouTube. Very interesting discussion of blend and GSM. GSM ~= loft.
This guy is pretty particular about caring for his towels. To the point where he keeps a separate washer and dryer in his basement so his doesn’t contaminate the household wash.

Can anybody give an instruction how to wash them? What soap? Can I use the druer? Do I have to clean my hands afterwards? Use daycream? How to fold the cloth? And other important things please.

Do not hang them to dry outside if you live in a desert area.

Oh no, I live in Holland and it's raining all the time. Too much lime in the precious cloth that will damage my valves. BTW, how do you staple them in your cupboard?

I favor the blue microfiber cloths from Ultra Pure. The post about microfiber cloth becoming abrasive when machine washed caught my attention, and now I wash my microfiber cloths by hand in cold water with just a tiny bit of Woolite, and then I air-dry them. _________________ Jim19043
