Hi All,
I have a pre-war French Besson from my dad. The receiver is the old style french and doesn't play so well with modern mouthpieces in terms of intonation.
Any advice on where to find a modern mouthpiece to fit the receiver? I play Wedge mouthpieces so would like to be able to use the same cup with a screw on backbore to fit the receiver.

| I have a French Besson Meha SN 94xxx. I don't know if that makes mine pre-war or not as I've read conflicting accounts of that. I've had no problem using Blackburn (Pickett) mouthpieces on mine. Good luck! |
