Hi Guys!
We have a new video: Someone to watch over me
It's the same arrangement writen for Phil Smith. It was really exciting to play this piece!!
Loved your video and especially loved that arrangement of Someone To Watch Over Me, one of my all time favorites songs.
George
We are happy to know that one of the pieces we played is among your all times favorites! Thank you so much for following our videos!! _________________ Robson Adabo de Mello

I always enjoy them.
By the way, do you ever do any sacred songs as a Duo? After listening to you and your wife, I've been thinking of putting together some piano duets with my wife on piano and me on trumpet for our church. We have done a trio with a flute player we know, but not just the duo yet. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS, Yamaha YTR-6335S

Bravo !!
was wondering what your musical educational background is. Where did you guys study and who we're your primary teachers and motivators musically?
totally enjoy hearing you folks play !!
regards,
tom
My parents are non professional musicians. My father is also a trumpet player and I started to play when I was very young at the church. My main teacher plays at Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra. In fact I never player professionaly, I'm 100% amateur... I'm an aeronautical engineer and I work for the Federal Goverment with taxes
My wife started to play the piano with her mother and she was her main motivator. After she had several private piano teachers, including several years with a polish pianist that taught her the russian technic. She studied on a convervatory of music and after she went to the university and she has a bachelors degree in music performance. She also had classes with the pianist of Theatro Municipal’s Symphony Orchestra (Sao Paulo) and singing classes with a singer also from Theatro Municipal’s Symphony Orchestra. She have already played a large part of the repertoire for trumpet and piano, like Honegger, Rustiques, Brandt 1 and 2, Eric Ewazen, etc _________________ Robson Adabo de Mello

100 % amateur ? more like 100 % great. wonderful that you have both been inspired by your parents, I have two boys and have hopefully inspired them, both are wonderful musicians of assorted instruments and both are engineers, one even works for the federal gov't. Talk about a small world Robson. Keep the music coming please, you give me something to strive for in my musical pursuits !!

Once again, I like your duet. The synergy between you two is so great, and it is really nice of you to post your videos for our enjoyment. Always look forward to the next one.
Is your picc a p7-4? It looks like it anyway.
Thanks again. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS, Yamaha YTR-6335S

Sorry for the late reply...
Yes, it's a Schilke P7-4. I had a P5-4 some years ago, but Schilke P7-4 is more free blowing. I also like to use my Schilke G1L when it's possible... it has a thicker sound

Once again, thank you for the nice video. Very appropriate for a day when we are having virtual church services and staying at home. Tough switch between horns, carried off very well. As always, I enjoyed your playing. _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS, Yamaha YTR-6335S

Do you do requests? If so I would like to hear some Hindemith. How about the first movement of his Sonata? BTW I really enjoy your videos. Lovely resonant sound.
