I've not tried those particular models.
Another one I have tried is the Wessex which wasn't bad and sells new for relatively little money.

Save up your money for a better horn. Piccolo is frustrating enough for most of us, don't make it worse for yourself buy picking up a dud. |

So, the first link is an Amati and the second is a Thomann branded one.
Amatis are not regarded as great playing piccolos, but I have not played one personally.
The Thomann is likely a Chinese built store branded stencil. There is plenty of discussion of how good some of these Chinese stencils can be - people seem to think the Dillon music ones are alright and Trent Austin puts his name on some and tweaks and adjusts them before they go out. How much Thomann does is a question I do not have an answer for.
As one poster said, piccolo is difficult. Trying to play a poor one is even more difficult. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

I DID play an Amati piccolo for awhile, just for the fun of it. Hard to play, sound is squeaky, and intonation is tricky - although I am told the latter is an issue with many piccolos. Valves were surprisingly good, although noisy (my Amati had bottom sprung valves). Used a JK 5C and a Yamaha 14a4a mouthpiece. If I really had the need for a picc I’d maybe check out Carol Brass or would look for a quality used horn. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

PS: you seem to be looking on German eBay Kleinanzeigen. Right now there are four Getzen Eterna piccolos for sale on there; those may be worthwhile. Ergonomically my personal choice would rather be a long model or a rotary horn but those seem to be more expensive.
IF you are located in Germany (as suggested by the EB link) you may also check these sources for used instruments:

https://www.musik-gillhaus.de/de/Blog
https://meisterinstrumente-kroning.de/instrumente/gebraucht/
Kroning recently sold a nice rotary picc for a few hundred euros, I seem to remember. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

+1
Look for a used Getzen eterna, sometimes you can find them really cheap.

I would go with giakara and find a used getzen, or schilke. getzen is going to be less brand new, too and they work. The first and best I ever had experience with was a Schilke. Buying cheaper, my fear would be spending all of one's time dealing with intonation and the other idiosyncracies of the instrument. There are good used piccolo horns out there, Good Luck. _________________ "There are two sides to a trumpeter's personality,

I started with a 70s vintage Getzen Eterna for $600 off eBay 3-4 years ago (I need to put it up for sale, keep forgetting), then last year upgraded to a Schilke P7-4. Stick with main brands.... |

Amatis are not good. I wasted my time on one for 2 years in undergrad, then bought a real horn.
You can find a used getzen or selmer paris for $1000.
Save up for a $1000 horn. If you need one cheaper, only one i would recommend would be a Getzen Capri. Basically a 3 valve version of their pro line and with a 2 piece bell. Great tone. |

Yes yes yes.
If you have any horn you dont want to take a chance on, its picc.
You need a good one or it'll absolutely wreck your experience. I tried playing the cheap game and lost lol |

I own the Thomann. It’s a correct clone of a P5/4.
I prefer with it use a cornet mouthpiece with an adapter. _________________ Mikel Dupac / LawlerC7 / CarolBrass flugelhorn + pockets / Olds Super / Conn New Wonder cornet / Music is the healing force of the Universe |
