Hi, I’m seeking info on Yamaha vintage mouthpieces - the ones that look like Schilkes (as opposed to the ones that look kinda like Bachs). I currently play on a vintage 15B, which plays and fits into my Yamaha trumpet receiver better than the Schilke 15B. I was lucky to come across the Yamaha vintage version in such nice shape.
Does anyone know which of the Schilke clones Yamaha made with the vintage blank? I have a memory from many years ago (high school) seeing in a store catalog the different Yamaha models for sale, but it wasn’t nearly as many as all the Schilkes. I used to own a 6A4a and 11. I have seen a 14A4a, 9 cornet and a 12F3d flugel piece but none others.
Anyone have any others? Interested in selling?
