Which piccolo trumpet stand? After using several mentioned, I made a specific choice to not use one.
- Lack of stability
- Too much weight from the valve block on a small bell
- It's an expensive horn
Frankly, a piccolo case is not big and fits nicely under the chair. Setting it in the case negates all of the negatives mentioned, adds removes less than 5% from the convenience factor, which is more than made up for with less worry about it.
But, that's just me. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

I prefer in-bell storage.
K&M clarinet stand.
Tape one or two of the legs to the floor with 2" gaff tape if the balance of your particular horn could be an issue.

After some delay, I ended up purchasing a Spyder Stand from The Horn Guys. It is very lightweight, but my picc seems to be firmly seated on the stand. Others have stated long term use has produced good experience. Time will tell.
