I've been playing "professionally" since about 1980... I'll let you know when I'm done working on it.
Without instruction, stick with the sax-embouchures and articulation approaches are very different, on opposite extremes in many aspects.
With instruction - years. With daily practice, 1 to 3 30 minute sessions per day. _________________ Freelance Performer/Educator
