Today I'm really digging the John Swana/Joe Magnarellin album, Philly-New York Junction. I realized that I really like two-trumpet projects and there have been several of them. If you dig them too, maybe you can add to this list:
John Swana/Joe Magnarelli--- Philly/New York Junction
Tom Harrell/John McNeil--Look to the Sky
Tom Harrell/Bobby Shew--Playing With Fire
Freddie Hubbard/Woody Shaw--Double Take
Donald Byrd/Johnie Coles--(not sure of the name)
Blue Mitchell/Sam Noto--Dexter Gordon's album (can't remember the name) |

Freddie Hubbard / Lee Morgan --- The Night of the Cookers.
Arturo Sandoval / Dizzy Gillespie --- To a Finland Station
Arturo Sandoval / Dizzy Gillespie --- Live at the Jazz Plaza Festival
And for something very different in improvised music, any of the stuff Peter Evans and Nate Wooley did together.
If we are allowed to add one or two more to the mix:
Allen Vizzutti / Bobby Shew / Vince DiMartino --- Trumpet Summit: Live Jazz Concert
Dizzy Gillespie / Freddie Hubbard / Clark Terry --- Trumpet Summit Meets Oscar Peterson Big Four
Clark Terry / Dizzy Gillespie / Roy Eldridge --- The Trumpet Kings at Montreux _________________ 1932 King Silvertone cornet

Red Rodney/Sam Noto
Red Rodney/Ira Sullivan
For you guys who have`nt checked out Ira Sullivan
he was a fantastic musician, both on Saxophone and Trumpet.
It was interesting watching him play trumpet,as he often
used alternate fingerings in unexpected places |

Here's a remarkable 'threesome':
Clark Terry/Maynard Ferguson/Clifford Brown -- I've Got You Under My Skin (on the album "Dinah Jams" featuring Dinah Washington) |

Several recordings by the Klaus Ignatzek Quintet featuring trumpeters Claudio Roditi and Gustavo Bergalli.
All good but the best of the bunch (IMO) is Silent Horns commemorating Fats Navarro, Howard McGhee, Lee Morgan, Booker Little, Kenny Dorham & Dizzy Gillespie. |

Not an album, but on the Bell, Book, and Candle soundtrack are a couple of great duets by the "Brothers Candoli." The score was by George During...
