I see that Bach makes a Commercial trumpet and a line of Commercial mouthpieces. I'm in the dark as to what the meaning of Commercial is. |

"Commercial" is typically referred to as trumpet playing you'd hear in a big band, rock band, R&B horn line, Latin band, etc. The idea behind a "commercial" sound is that it's a brilliant sound that cuts, and as often as not is in the upper register of the instrument.
Another way to think about it is Commercial = recorded in a studio as part of an amplified band sound, i.e. guitars, electric bass, drums, etc. _________________ Patrick Gleason
