According to the notes inside the Orchestral Excerpts disc he made a little while back:
HORNS:
Bach 229 C trumpet, 25H leadpipe, large bore
Getzen Eterna C Cornet, large bore (Mahler posthorn)
Schilke Piccolo Trumpet, P5-4
Hetman Rotary C Trumpet
Bach 37 ML Bb Trumpet
MOUTHPIECES:
Trumpet-Bach 1C rim with Bach 1 underpart (22 throat, 24 backbore)
Cornet-Bach 1C rim with Bach B underpart (22 throat, Giardinelli 5 backbore)
For Mahler Posthorn-Bach 1C rim with Wick 2B underpart
Piccolo-Bach 7E (25 throat, 117 backbore)
Rotary-Bach 1C rim with Bach B underpart (22 throat, 24 backbore)
That's verbatim outta the notes....now that is just for that recording though...matter-of-fact he's been rumored to be using one of the Malone Yamahas recently...who knows....he sounds great on whatever he's playing!!!! |

Do a search, many reports on TH of what he has been using lately.
It seems to be mainly as listed above with the new Malone Yamaha making appearances as well. |
