Thinking and imagining the unwritten 'lead-up' notes is a good idea.
It 'works' by preparing your 'muscle memory' of how to play those notes - starting from a note that you ALREADY have solidly established in your muscle memory. Such as from the standard written-C tuning note. _________________ Most Important Note ? - the next one !
KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'. |
