Where do 'want-to-learners' now go for info ?
Yes there is a slow stream of new people who stick around as semi-regulars, but there are many one-timers who (it seems to me) get good advice, but don't continue to pursue it. Are the one-timers completely resolved and have no further need, or what?
In many posts acting for help, the OP gets plenty of feedback, but rarely is there a simple quick fix, and rarely feedback from the OP about what worked, etc.
Is actual discussion about 'what is involved in playing the trumpet' that daunting? _________________ Most Important Note ? - the next one !
KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'. |

Don't feed the troll. There are a few of these lame posts about BAC's product line. |

Well, I'm from the 50s and 60s and it was rare where I lived to see one. I think a particular influence is that they were thought of mainly as a "Jazz horn" and everyone mostly was looking for versatile horns.
Note that I didn't say the horns couldn't play outside the Jazz style, just that that was the general impression. I actually remember trying one out and wanted one badly but we could hardly afford one MOR horn (Connstellation), much less two. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn."
