What are the different Monette rims?
Which one is the flattest?

The 1-2 and 1-4 rims are flat, but large-diameter pieces.

3FS7, which was originally designed for Adam Rapa is another flatter rim with a sharper contour into the cup. The 5, though originally a piccolo mouthpiece Wynton and others used, is also available for Bb, C, etc. and has a relatively flat rim.

A perusal of the comparison chart, here: https://www.monette.net/comparison-chart
Would be a good start. A call to BJ to discuss musical goals and applications should get you all the way there.

Happy practicing!
