I'm going for the Chris Botti/Miles Davis muted sound. I read they both used Harmons? But which one and are there better one's I should be looking at? I also like the sound of the Tom Crown Harmon.
Thanks,

The Harmon model B is a good starting point for the sound you are looking for. TrumCor's Zinger gets the classic Harmon-type sound, and I find it projects better than the Harmon. Plus, you can get the Zinger in some awesome Doc-ouflage patterns. The Charley Davis Harmon model mute is another nice option with a classic sound. |

+ 1 for the TrumCor Zinger. They are great harmon mutes and love how light weight they are. Someday I will be getting one of their decorated styles but for now I just have the black color. _________________ Yamaha YTR-9335 NYS III
