|

Hello All
My city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada is home to a very large population of Ukrainians and their descendants. They are a vital integral part of the the mosaic that constitutes our population.
I have been looking for advice and information regarding repertoire for a brass quintet concert celebrating the Ukrainian people and to fund raise for local Ukrainian organizations
providing humanitarian support.
I have so far managed to find an arrangement of the Ukrainian national anthem. Any suggestions for quintet arrangements of patriotic music, marches or popular.songs would be appreciated. Sources for music would be very helpful as well. I contacted KGU brass for their suggestions but have had no response yet.
Thank you for your input. |

Hi!
You might contact Dr. Iskander Akmadullin, who is Professor of Trumpet at the University of Missouri. He is very knowledgeable about Ukraine and might be able to assist you in your search. Iskander is a gentleman and a scholar, and I'm sure he would welcome your inquiry!
