Similar to the additional variations in Flexus, I had this "up bend" variation suggested to me in my last lesson:
Keeping the time and air steady through the up bends is hard.

Similar material in John Daniels' "Specials Studies" book as well. And Hickman's "15 Advanced Embouchure Studies"...
