Helllo!
Any ideas for how a high school sophomore could make about $800 on a tight schedule for an Austin Custom Brass flugelhorn?
Open to all suggestions, no matter how harebrained or absurd! _________________ "Life is a lot like jazz… it's better when you improvise." - George Gershwin |

Shop around for a used ACB Doubler flugelhorn to save a bit compared to the new price? _________________ 1975 Olds Recording trumpet

Would your current skills and comfort level allow you to give private lessons to elementary/middle school students? Perhaps your former middle school band director can offer some advice.
$20-30/half hour session provides the flexibility you indicate your schedule needs. Thirty to forty of those sessions gets you to your financial goal.
Several years ago one of my son's soccer teammates had a sister who was in high school and did quite well in private trumpet instruction. For point of reference, I recall she ended up with a college music scholarship, so her skill set on the horn was clearly quite good.
Good luck! |

Work for it? Sell a bunch of other stuff you have? There are no free lunches. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Where I live, a lot of younger folks are getting some fast cash by doing a little "bipping", which is the slang out here for breaking into cars and stealing stuff.
But please don't do that. _________________ '78 Getzen Eterna Severinsen

Must be a British spelling of Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.
I went down a rabbit hole seeing if there was any significance to the phrase.
Spoiler, nope, just nonsense sounds. |
