Hi all,
I just found out that Ibrahim Malouf has his own mouthpiece made by Atelier de cuivre. It's also sold by Thomann.
Besides thé rim size, only some general characteristics are mentioned.
Has anyone tried this mouthpiece already?
I would love to hear more about it.

Thanks.

I briefly tried it, it's basically a 1-1/2C in terms of feeling. Probably a few changes in the throat/backbore area.
Next time I see Adrien (the shop owner) I can ask him, but don't know when it will happen.
Otherwise you can give them a call at the Brétigny shop (contact here).

I would also like to know more about this mouthpiece, so if you hear anything else, I'd much appreciate it.

Yes, it's like a 1 1/2C. To me, it felt smaller and deeper, to my lips but not to my fingers. The sound is very much Ibrahim Maalouf, it's dark, creamy and soft. It felt different, just different than what you would expect from something in the 1 1/2C gang.
